• Stay calm

• Make sure you’re okay and that if any other person is in the accident that they are okay as well

• Phone the local police or authorities immediately if:

• serious injuries or death have occurred

• vehicles involved require towing

• a criminal act is involved (i.e. stolen vehicle, impaired driving, assault)

• collisions involving government vehicles (including snow removal equipment, buses & municipal vehicles)

• collisions involving a taxi cab

• collisions involving transporting dangerous goods, a person who is uninsured or is a suspended driver, or damage to public or private property

• If drivable, drive your Honda to the side of the road, out of the way of traffic

• Exchange necessary information from drivers at the scene of the accident

• Write all accident scene information and witnesses information

• Call local police, your insurance company, and Waterloo Honda Collision Centre

• If road worthy drive to Waterloo Honda Collision Centre, if not please tow to Waterloo Honda for official repair estimate (insurance will reimburse or pay for towing of the vehicle)
